NYE Countdown Beach Festival

ARK Bar Beach Club holds its New Year's Eve Countdown Beach Festival on Chaweng Beach on Thursday 31 December, seeing in 2027 from 5 p.m. until late. International and resident DJs play the main stage, and the pool stays open all night.

An extended fire show takes over the sand in front of the stage at 8 p.m. At midnight, fireworks go up over Chaweng Bay, and the music carries on across the beach and around the pool afterwards.

Standing tickets cost ฿500 in advance, and advance sales close on 25 December. A limited number are sold on the door until midnight, though entry isn't guaranteed once the venue is full. Table packages run from beach tables to Platinum VIP lounges, with spirits, champagne and mixers. Table guests must check in by 9 p.m. Resort guests get free general entry. There's no parking on the night, so arrive by taxi or songthaew.
