Our Story

SamuiBeachClub.com grew from a simple frustration. After years of visiting Koh Samui, we'd accumulated notebooks full of scribbled recommendations, half-remembered beach names, and lessons learned the hard way about which venues lived up to their photographs. Every trip involved the same ritual: cross-referencing outdated blog posts, scrolling through reviews of questionable authenticity, and hoping for the best.

We thought there had to be a better way. Not another review aggregator stuffed with sponsored content, but a proper guide—one that treats beach clubs and coastal venues with the same care and attention you'd expect from a good restaurant guide. Somewhere that tells you not just what a place looks like, but what it actually feels like to spend an afternoon there.

So we built it. SamuiBeachClub.com is our attempt to create the resource we wished had existed: comprehensive, honest, and genuinely useful. Whether you're after a lively spot with music and cocktails or a quiet stretch of sand with nothing but the sound of waves, we want to help you find exactly what you're looking for.

What We Offer

Every venue on SamuiBeachClub.com has been selected based on merit. We don't accept payment for listings or favourable coverage. Venues can't buy their way onto the site or pay to improve their ratings. This independence matters to us—it's the only way we can be genuinely useful to you.

Our Meta Rating system aggregates scores from multiple trusted review platforms, weighted by reliability and recency, to give you a balanced picture of what others think. But we know ratings only tell part of the story, which is why we complement them with detailed editorial content. A four-star beach club might be perfect for one visitor and completely wrong for another. Our job is to give you enough context to work out which category you fall into.
